The Mermaid 'Mariner' is a 6 cylinder, naturally aspirated, heavy duty marine diesel engine and is based on the highly reliable Ford 'Dover' series industrial engine. The long life expectancy of this enginemakes it appropriate to the discerning pleasure boat owner where the unit is frequently specified for both sailing and power cruisers.
