Seawind 850

Rare 1992 Seawind 850 now available for sale and just reduced in price.

A rare find is the Seawind 850 with only 25 built by Seawind Catamarans here in Australia.

Designed by Scott Jutson to combine performance and comfort in a compact package. They were the precursor to the now popular SW 1000 with many features being carried over.

The layout is simple and functional. The starboard hull houses the galley midships with a single vee berth forward and a double berth aft. The port hull has a large locker forward, which also accomadates the electric toilet and shower, moving aft you find a double berth midships that can extend out to a queen size bunk and another double berth aft. 

Features include retractable dive ladder underneath the catwalk. Cockpit cushions and removable table. Cockpit cover has full clears with roll down privacy covers.

She has 4 new batteries which are kept charged by 2 solar panels mounted on the dinghy davits and has just recently been antifouled.

All in all, this is a great opportunity to enter into the cruising catamaran market and experience the joys of level sailing.
