Robb 35 Sloop

Suberb construction and streamlined design make this racing/cruising classic a favorite of yachtsman for decades. Arthur Robb designs are notable for their balanced hull forms; full forward graduating to lean aft. This Robb 35 was built by the Cheoy Lee shipyard in Hong Kong for an Australian owner. She was strongly built of first class materials, teak hull and decks for durability and strenght. With her fittings intact she remains original and strongly true to those origins more than half a century on.

The Robb 35 is a beautifully balanced sloop with a powerful rig pushing her along in all breezes. The Robb 35 has broad decks and a spacious cockpit with wheel forwards in cockpit allowing comfortable seating for guests and crew. Good sized storage lockers are in the cockpit.

The interior layout of the Robb 35 is well planned for maximum comfort at sea and for yachts of this era very spacious. In the bright and airy living quarters up to 6 adults can sleep in comfort. The aft galley has good storage, ice box and a sink. The ice box doubles as a large chart-table on stb side. A large dining table folds away to create additional interior space. A large enclosed head is fwd's with manual head and sink.

This Robb 35 is well maintained be a passionate owners of classic yachts and maintains it's authentic charm. "Marco Polo" is an easy to handle yacht for two - even solo. This is a gracious harbour yacht which is very capable of any offshore voyage, many Robb's have crossed seas which is a testiment to the designs strenght and performance. "Marco Polo" has competed in the world famous Sydney to Hobart race in 1964 and since cruised Sydney waters.
